The NARTI Annual Conference brings together PhD students from the network of universities in the north of England in an inclusive meeting place to discuss fundamental and innovative issues in their field.
Organised over two days in summer 2023 at the heart of Middlesbrough, this conference will focus on PhD student’s scholarly and career development by providing a supportive and engaging environment to develop research ideas, potential contributions, and future career goals.
A range of high-profile and eminent academic speakers and editors of top-tier journals will share their career insights, provide feedback on individual submissions and presentations, and be available for networking throughout the conference. Further, PhD students will have the opportunity to network and build relationships with other PhD researchers from across the UK.
The event commences on Thursday, 15th of June in the morning and ends on Friday, 16th of June, in the afternoon.
Please note that the deadline date for submission of extended abstracts, supervisor recommendation and application form has now been extended to Friday 21 April (5pm). Please submit extended abstracts to: narti@tees.ac.uk
All sessions will be held in the Teesside University and an evening meal is also included at Oven Restaurant Middlesbrough offering a further, informal, networking opportunity.
