Tuesday 10th June 2025 (10.00-11.00 GMT)
Online via Zoom
We are delighted to welcome Dr Helen Kopnina, Newcastle Business School, who will deliver an online seminar on Leading Research and Publications on behalf of the NARTI network.
As the author of over two hundred peer-reviewed articles, Helen will discuss her process for collaborating with co-authors and her strategies for submitting to top-tier journals. In particular, the seminar will cover: what is leadership in the context of research and publications; how to assure high quality multiple author publications and how can we ensure an effective, efficient and harmonious working team. Starting with a classic talk sharing experiences and expertise, Helen will invite the audience to engage with a practice task and further discussion.
Session objectives:
To empower more of our graduates and early career academics to lead in highly skilled (research-related) projects and to enhance their employability, key leadership skills, and self-efficacy. Learning to lead an effective, efficient, and harmonious research team with high-quality publication outputs.
