Summary:

How do we maximize the impact of our research? In this presentation, Dr. Samantha Cross outlines key aspects to consider in producing and publishing impactful research. She discusses important aspects such as laying the ground for impact, broadening our view of impact and relevance, methodological approaches for maximizing impact, and creative outlets for disseminating impactful research within and beyond academia.

Biography:

Dr. Samantha N. N. Cross is an Associate Professor of Marketing and the F.W. Olin Distinguished Chair of Global Business at Babson College. She incorporates innovative multi-method approaches in her research, which examines the co-existence of cultural and sensory influences, and societal forces on consumption, decision making and innovation. Her work has been accepted for publication in top marketing journals, and she has received several awards for her research. Dr Cross has served on a number of boards, committees, and editorial review boards in her field, and has been an invited faculty fellow/mentor to various doctoral symposiums and workshops.
