Structural Equation Modelling with LISREL: Principles and Advances online course

Professor Adamantios Diamantopoulos, University of Vienna, will run an intensive course on Structural Equation Modelling with LISREL: Principles and Advances online via Zoom on the following dates:

6 March – 09.00-17.00

7 March – 09.00-13.00

8 March – 09.00-17.00

9 March – 09.00-13.00

15 March – 09.00-17.00

Seminar objectives

The purpose of this intensive seminar is to provide a user-friendly, in-depth introduction to (covariance-based) structural equation modeling (SEM) using the LISREL software program and the SIMPLIS command language. The seminar’s emphasis is on understanding and applying SEM as a tool in substantive research and its target audience includes doctoral students and academic researchers involved in quantitative modeling and data analysis.

Important: The seminar assumes prior knowledge of data analysis and multivariate statistics (including factor analysis and regression). The course will be extremely difficult to follow unless you have this prior knowledge and you will be asked to confirm this at the point of registration.

Before you register your interest:

This is a highly participative and intensive course and it is important that you are able to commit to participating in all of the dates above so please do not register your interest if you are unable to do this. The course assumes prior knowledge of data analysis and multivariate statistics (including factor analysis and regression). The Professor requires that cameras are switched on at all times during the course so, again, please only register if you are able to do this. Prior reading is provided in the above syllabus and it is highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with this as it will support your knowledge and understanding of the course content.

If you are offered a place on the course, please note that the software provided works with Windows so you will be required to be able to access a laptop that is able to support this. Mac users can download an app that enables compatibility but this will need to be tested in advance of the workshop to make sure it works.
